![]() Should you find this has solved your problem, then you know you have a hidden OSD in one of the programs you just closed. If still not resolved, stop additional programs (neglecting AV) you may have running such that Origin is the only one in use. My recommendation is to turn off all that you know do come with an overlay, even if you have already disabled the function. This can include not only obvious ones, such as Nvidia ShadowPlay and RivaTuner, but also your water cooling loop controller (i.e. There are MANY programs that come with an overlay capability. Boot the game to see if the problem is resolved.Ģ) Disable all overlay (On Screen Display - OSD) programs. Next, go to your library, right-click Dead Space 3 and select "Game Properties." Check "Enable Origin In Game for Dead Space 3" if unchecked. To do so, launch Origin -> Click "Origin" in top left -> "Application Settings" -> "More" -> "Origin In-Game" -> "Enable Origin In-Game" I recommend trying them before adding an exclusion to your AV.ġ) Ensure the overlay is enabled in Origin settings and for Dead Space 3 specifically. Adding an exclusion for the game in my AV was the only thing required to enable the in-game overlay while still using RivaTuner (my frame rate capper). I tried many of the fixes found online (I will detail them below in case someone else ends up needing a solution) and ended up finding out that the issue is with my antivirus (AV). ![]() As someone that recently came back to Dead Space 3, I was immediately annoyed that the in-game overlay (enables the use of ration seals for resource packs and used for co-op) was not available.
